What an extraordinary weekend at Rome’s Foro Italico, September 19–21! The 2025 European Pickleball Championships brought together 30 nations, hundreds of athletes, and thousands of fans in a truly unique setting.

Three days of thrilling matches showed just how much this sport is growing and winning new audiences across Europe. Seeing so many cultures and stories united by the same passion was the real highlight of the event.

A special thank you goes to:

  • the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP) for flawless organization,
  • the European Pickleball Federation (EPF) and President Frank Arico for their international vision,
  • all the teams and athletes who delivered unforgettable matches,
  • and the volunteers and staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

The Championships ended with top-level competition and a ranking that reflects the incredible standard of European pickleball:

Spain – 18 points
England – 10 points
Italy – 9 points
Netherlands – 7 points
Austria, Poland, Sweden & Switzerland – 3 points
Germany – 2 points
Serbia & France – 1 point

Congratulations to Spain, the new European Champion with an outstanding performance.

A special applause also to Italy, who proudly secured the bronze medal with 9 points—proof of the progress and dedication of the national movement.
